When James Beeman of Clear Career Consulting ended up in the ER several years ago due to stress related issues, he had a wakeup call. The amount he was working and the weight his job put on his shoulders was too much. James decided he needed a drastic change in his life and began to move in a completely different direction. After obtaining a Masters in Leadership James decided to open Clear Career Consulting where he could help professionals both find the right career and get the most out of their career.
James was looking for a website that would not only be user friendly for his clients, but easy for him to use as well. He said, “I learn best by doing things hands on. So when Rebecca and I were doing screen shares where the controls were in my hands and she could guide me I was able to learn a ton.”
When we asked James how else he enjoyed working with us he said, “I loved I could call Web Pages That Sell and talk to the same person over and over again. If you went with a larger company you’d just get handed off from person to person but with Rebecca it’s personal. When my son was born six weeks early she sent a little gift for Clark which had nothing to do with the website but everything to do with building a relationship with me. She’s always asking how I’m doing and my family is doing as well. It’s a small thing but it does take time. Rebecca heard me and I felt like a person instead of a number.”
One of our favorite aspects of building websites for clients is getting to know them. Each client is a different story with a different passion and we love being able to listen to those passions. It not only makes us personable with each other but we learn something from one another as well.
