Melissa Flach is a coach, speaker and founder of the program, Embrace Your Big Ask. Melissa specializes in helping people navigate transitions and find personal growth. When it came time for Melissa to take the next step in her business, she came to Web Pages That Sell to help with the project. “I got to know Rebecca a little bit through some networking when I did Live in Minneapolis,” Melissa said. “When it came time to establish a website, I wanted to go with someone I had a connection with. I had been following Rebecca for a couple years on social media and I liked what I saw.”
For Melissa, it was important that every aspect of her website was built with purpose, right down to the copy. “Rebecca was very good at talking to me and getting to know the thought behind my business and my message,” Melissa explained. “When it came time to write the copy, it was very much about what is going to get picked up by the search engines and how this website is going to be the most effective. I liked that approach rather than throwing words out there.”
Since coaching is all about personal connections, we wanted to imbue Melissa’s website with her personality. The home page features pictures of Melissa, fun script fonts and bright colors. We added tabs for her coaching, retreats, live events and easy access to her blog. Her “about” page goes more in-depth about Melissa (in her own words for that personal touch) and an explanation of where her programs come from.
“Rebecca went above and beyond to help me,” Melissa said. “She created this personalized quiz for me and I love it. We could have gone with something generic, but Rebecca felt it would be much better to have a quiz that was personalized. I know that wasn’t easy, so it was really great she did that for me.”
For us, the personalization of each website is what makes building them so fun, and special. Every business is unique, and each requires a different approach. “Rebecca made me feel really great about my message,” Melissa concluded. “I was brand new to establishing my coaching business and she was very complimentary and encouraging. It wasn’t just business.” Here at Web Pages that Sell, we jump at the chance to work with people like Melissa, and are eager to watch her business continue to flourish.
