“I feel Rebecca is very knowledgeable and creative. I truly appreciated her enthusiasm about our mission!”
—Kelly Grosklags, Conversations with Kelly
Kelly Grosklags founded Conversations with Kelly as an intimate forum that helps minimize grief and reduce the suffering of others, so its web presence needed to deeply resonate with its audience as “a safe and comfortable place to land.” At the suggestion of a trusted source, Kelly contacted Web Pages That Sell and quickly recognized Rebecca’s enthusiasm about CWK’s mission as a perfect fit for the website design she envisioned.
“Kelly wanted a creative, on-brand website that reflects a community of healing and compassion,” Rebecca says. “I felt honored to be given the opportunity to work on this impactful project.” In addition, Kelly wanted to feature her first full-length documentary, Dying Is Not Giving Up, and her book, A Comforted Heart. This was an opportunity for Web Pages That Sell to incorporate eCommerce technology to facilitate not only purchase but also private and secure downloading. “We used the eCommerce tool WooCommerce to make this happen, and premiering these components was truly motivating,” Rebecca reflects.
To approach the design, Rebecca focused first on CWK’s audience to ensure the website would reflect a welcoming space. She then crafted the experience of how the audience would experience CWK’s website, from recognizing that they were Kelly’s intended audience, to learning about what Kelly offers as a speaker and coach, and finally becoming acquainted with her book and documentary with the opportunity to purchase them. When incorporated with the strengths of Web Pages That Sell to design and develop a user-friendly design, the website fell into place.
As a result, “My mission is clear, and the site has helped promote an important documentary,” Kelly states. She also appreciates the increased communication she is experiencing with the website’s audience. She attributes this increased exposure to how the website is so easy to navigate and Rebecca’s investment in her clients. “I like that Rebecca is accessible. I truly appreciated her enthusiasm about our mission!” Kelly states.
